LEESBURG, Va. (April 13, 2026) – Music will be making a difference this September for five Loudoun County nonprofit organizations. The organizations were selected to be the recipients of grant funding from proceeds of BENEFIT’s upcoming 2026 Crossroads Music Festival.

BENEFIT is a coalition of musicians and community leaders uniting people with music to raise funds and awareness for nonprofit organizations that provide services to children in Loudoun County. BENEFIT’s 2026 Crossroads Music Festival will take place in downtown Leesburg September 18 and 19.

The five nonprofit organizations selected to be the recipients of grant funding to be raised through BENEFIT’s 2026 Crossroads Music Festival include:

A Hand Up - NOVA, Inc., which operates the Northern Virginia Diaper BankDulles South Food PantryLoudoun Education FoundationLoudoun Youth, Inc.; and The Salvation Army of Loudoun County.

The recipients were selected through a grant application process which took place earlier this year.

“Back in 2017 when we had the idea to start the BENEFIT organization, we knew we wanted to use the power of live music to raise awareness about the nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to serving our Loudoun County community,” Amy Bobchek, vice president and co-founder of BENEFIT, said. “We not only wanted to raise awareness about them, but we also wanted to support them by helping to raise funds so that they are able to continue their work. Our Crossroads Music Festival helps us shine a light on these amazing nonprofit organizations and assist them with funding as well.”

This is the seventh year BENEFIT’s Crossroads Music Festival will be taking place in downtown Leesburg. The grant amounts to be awarded to the nonprofit organizations will be determined after the event and will be awarded in November 2026.

“We are so proud to be able to support these nonprofit organizations from the proceeds to be raised at our 2026 festival,” Ara Bagdasarian, president and co-founder of BENEFIT, said. “Music brings people together. We hope that our festival brings our community members together to show our support for these organizations and their dedication to providing services to children in Loudoun County.”
