BENEFIT announces grant recipients

 

LEESBURG, Va. (April 14, 2025) – Nine nonprofit organizations have been selected as recipients of grant funding from BENEFIT.

 

BENEFIT is a coalition of musicians and community leaders uniting people with music to raise funds and awareness for nonprofit organizations serving children in Loudoun County. 

 

A total of $30,000 was awarded among the nine nonprofit organizations. The grant funding was raised from a portion of the proceeds of BENEFIT’s 2024 Crossroads Music Festival.

 

Recipients of BENEFIT grant funding include:

Food for Neighbors, $3,600; A Hand Up - NOVA, Inc., which operates the Northern Virginia Diaper Bank, $3,400; Loudoun Youth, Inc., $3,400; A Place to Be, $3,400; Salvation Army of Loudoun, $3,300; The Arc of Loudoun, $3,300; Dulles South Food Pantry, $3,200; Ryan Bartel Foundation, $3,200; and Dulles South Soup Kitchen, $3,200.

 

In addition to this grant funding, the selected grant recipients will receive awards from a portion of the proceeds of BENEFIT’s 2025 Crossroads Music Festival to be held Friday, Sept. 19, and Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. The awarding of the grant funding from proceeds of the 2025 event will take place in November.
